A small tree, the branches glabrous.
Leaves simply pinnate, 15–20 cm long, alternate; petioles glabrous, 3–4 cm long; leaflets 7–11, alternate, chartaceous, ovate-elliptic, 5–6 cm long, 2–3 cm broad, strongly inequilateral, acuminate at apex, obtuse at base and the midrib elevated on both surfaces, the lateral veins about 6 on each side of the midrib, the margins entire; petiolules 3 mm long, glabrous.
Inflorescence of terminal minutely pubescent paniculate cymes, about 8 cm long including the peduncles, 5 cm broad. Flowers 5-merous, 4.5 mm long, the pedicels 5 mm long; sepals suborbicular; petals oblong, glabrous, obtuse at apex, about 6 mm long, 1.5 mm broad; stamens 10, glabrous, 5 longer alternating with 5 shorter, the longer filaments 5 mm long, abruptly narrowed just below the anthers; ovary glabrous, cylindric, 1.5 mm long, the style stout, about 2.5 mm long.
Fruit ovoid, about 6 mm long.
